SEPCOI Electric Power Construction Corporation started in 1952 as the 22n Engineering Office of Shanghai Infrastructure Bureau under the then Ministry of Electric Power; it was officially founded in 1956. As a key member of China Power, one of the Fortune 500, it has more than 20 qualifications such as first-grade electric power project general contractor, first-grade thermal power equipment installation professional general contractor, first-grade high-rise structure professional contractor, first-grade building project construction general contractor, first-grade power station commissioning, and grade-A hoisting equipment design and production, in addition to a permit for overseas project contracting and import/export business and A, PP, and U certificates and an NBR license of ASME. Reputed as the “Iron Army for Electric Power Construction” in the country, it is an institution with a credit level of AAA in the Chinese construction industry and a “National Enterprise Committed to Contracts and Credit”.
