On August 16, 2016, SEPCOII was renamed as Power China Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd. and became Shandong’s first professional firm in nuclear power engineering and construction; it is also the only nuclear power construction company of Power China. The renaming signifies the company’s success in transformation and upgrade in nuclear power construction in line with its development strategy “nuclear power prioritized”. While consolidating its traditional businesses such as thermal power, turbines, wind power, photovoltaic power generation, and biomass power generation, the newly registered company focuses on nuclear power a new main business in its dedication to China’s nuclear power development.
