On March 5 in Jinan, Shandong Province Electric Power Enterprise Association kicked off its training session on preferential tax policy for power construction enterprises in order to better serve the power construction enterprises in the province and help them to cut tax costs by reasonably using preferential policy. While the opening meeting was attended by Li Ting, deputy secretary general of the Association, who gave a speech, the training saw the participation of close to 100 financial professionals from power construction enterprises in the province.
A tax expert from Shandong Provincial Office, SAT was invited to conduct the training, whose content included a review of the new tax policies in the year and their application, interpretation of relevant preferential policies for power construction enterprises and guidance on how to apply them, how power construction enterprises should make tax plans after the “replacement of business tax with value-added tax”, and how they should carry out income tax accounting and payment for 2015.
In her speech, Li Ting hoped that, through this training, everyone should fully understand relevant tax policies and reasonably use them in actual business activities. She added that everyone could feed back enterprise requirements to the Association, which would accordingly provide service, help to boost the development of the electric power industry, and promote the healthy growth of the electric power industry in the province.
