The Association Convenes Communication Meeting on Opinions of the State Council and CPC Central Committee about Deepening Electric Power Industry Reform

On June 16, Shandong Province Electric Power Enterprise Association invited Zhang Lizi, professor, doctorate tutor, and assistant to president of North China Electric Power University to the meeting to communicate and interpret Opinions of the State Council and CPC Central Committee about Deepening Electric Power Industry Reform for the attendees to grasp the key message of the Opinions.

Professor Zhang introduced the basic theory about the electric power market, typical international electric power markets and their electricity tariffs, while sharing her thought about the new electric power industry reform; she made a detailed and accurate interpretation of the Opinions, Mr. Xu Lianke from Shandong Energy Regulatory Office of the National Energy Administration interpreted the meaning of market-oriented reform in the Opinions in combination with the actual situation in Shandong’s electric power market.

Showing their support and recognition of the Association’s function as a platform and a tie and its timely organizing of this policy, law and regulation communication event, over 130 people from the province’s electric power enterprises attended this communication meeting. They said that, with this meeting, they could understand the basic contents and direction of the power industry reform in a more comprehensive and accurate manner, preparing themselves for communicating and implementing the Opinions.
