Shandong Province Electric Power Industry CLY Cadre Training Class Successfully Starts

May 18 to 22, the opening ceremony for the CYL Cadre Training Class by Shandong Province Electric Power Industry CYL Work Committee took place in Jinan, Shandong. The ceremony was attended by Yuan Liang, deputy secretary of CYL Shandong Committee, Li Sheng’an, deputy chief of Department of Urban Youth Work, Xu Lianke, chief of the Market Supervision Section of Shandong Energy Regulatory Office, Xu Zhen, secretary general of Shandong Province Electric Power Enterprise Association, and Li Ting, secretary of Shandong Province Power Industry CYL Work Committee. It was presided over by Xue Shoukai, deputy secretary of Shandong Province Power Industry CYL Work Committee. More than 60 young CYL cadres from the power supply enterprises, power generation enterprises, and power construction enterprises participated in the training.

During the opening ceremony, May 4th Red Flag Cadre Organizations and Excellent CYL Cadres (Members) for 2014 were honored. In the four days of training, the participants undertook such courses as the Opinions of State Council and CPC Central Committee on Deepening Electric Power Industry Reform, the Chinese Dream, and self-management in the career as a CYL cadre, basic functions of the CYL and how to implement them, the application of the Internet and new media, news publicity and writing.

Through this training, everyone came to have an in-depth understanding of the importance of innovative work in an industry CYL organization. They learned new, better approaches to connecting to, organizing, and uniting young people; to scientifically planning work contents and carrying out CYL work. The training also helped to strengthen the bond between power generation, power supply, and power construction enterprises. It was unanimously agreed that, only by strengthening the sense of historic mission and responsibility for work, remaining confident, and staying passionate, could they open a new page in their own job posts and in CYL work.
