On November 7, Shandong Province Social Organization Appraisal Office arrived at Shandong Province Electric Power Enterprise Association for relevant inspection work regarding Shandong Province social organization rating. The inspection meeting was presided over by Xu Zhen, secretary general of the Association, and attended by Sun Yongcheng, chief of Qualification Section of Shandong Electricity Regulatory Office, who gave an important speech.
In his speech, Sun first recognized the Association for its work since founding in 2008, praising it for its achievements in actively carrying out industry management, self-regulation and rights protection, academic exchanges, education and training, publicity planning, and so on. Meanwhile, he required the Association to cooperate with the Appraisal Office in relevant inspection work, truly report the status and progress of its work, solve the problems identified by the Appraisal Office in a timely manner, and make improvement wherever needed.
The Appraisal Office debriefed the detailed presentation of the Association’s work by Xu Zhen the secretary general and conducted strict inspection and checks of the Association’s personnel documents, financial documents, credential information, and so on. It inspected the working environment and relevant support facilities at every functional department of the Association, and inquired the employees on duty one by one about their work. Meanwhile, the working team of the Appraisal Office visited the Association’s archive room and showroom of honors, read the training materials compiled through the organizing by the Association and the internal publications. It highly praised Shandong Electric Power Community, an internal magazine of the Association, and encouraged the Association to launch more such excellent internal publications on the scientific and technological advancements and leading-edge technologies in the electric power industry.
After its rigorous review, the Appraisal Office finally made the following suggestions: 1) The Association should step up investment management development by encouraging its member institutions to invest and appropriately adjusting training and consulting fees so that the Association can have sufficient resources for further development; 2) The Association should further perfect its platform for legal consulting and assistance so that its members can act with a knowledge of the relevant laws and immediately report any pirated training materials coming to their attention and the industry can develop in a more fair and healthier manner; 3) The Association should make more publicity of itself and, based on the current publicity, strengthen its cooperation with the local media so that the general public can have a better understanding of electric power enterprises.
Finally, the working team of the Appraisal Office highly praised the staff of the Association for their hard work for this appraisal and recognized the Association for its work and achievement, while expressing its expectations to see more development of the Association.
