Shandong Province Electric Power Enterprise Association Recognized as One among First Batch of First-Grade Appraisal Institutions for Grid Enterprise Work Safety Standardization Rating

On January 28, 2013, State Electricity Regulatory Commission issued “Letter Announcing the First Batch of Appraisal Institutions for Power Work Safety Standardization Rating (Power Generation Enterprises)”, ranking Shandong Province Electric Power Enterprise Association among the first batch of appraisal institutions qualified for power work safety standardization rating. Up to now, the Association has obtained the first-grade appraisal qualification for power generation work safety standardization rating, first-grade appraisal qualification for power engineering project work safety standardization rating, and first-grade appraisal qualification for grid enterprise work safety standardization rating, enabling it to appraise power work safety standardization in the fields of power generation, grid, and power engineering nationwide.

The Association pays close attention to the appraisal of work safety standardization. Since it was ratified as a first-grade appraisal institution for power work safety standardization rating, it has focused its efforts on work safety standardization. On December 14, 2012, the Association participated in the review of China Guodian Shiheng Power Plant, Shandong Century Electric Power Development Holdings, CR Power (Heze), and China Huadian Weifang Power Generation, all of which smoothly passed the first-grade review of Safety Bureau of State Electricity Regulatory Commission and were ratified as “Power Work Safety Standardization First-Grade Enterprises”.

In its next move, the Association will, building on this, summarize its experience in power generation enterprise work safety standardization and, given the development requirements of the industry, carry out solid work safety standardization rating and appraisal for grid enterprises, effectively improving work safety in electric power enterprises.
