On December30, the Department of Civil Affairs of Shandong Province held the 2011 Provincial Social Organization Annual Review Meeting in Jinan, where it honored the excellent provincial organizations under the annual review for 2010. Shandong Province Electric Power Engineering Enterprise Association was recognized as one of such excellent social organizations – the first time the Association had ever received such an honor.
Since its founding in 2008, the Association has, under the leadership of Shandong Power Regulatory Office and with the support and cooperation of all its member institutions, continuously improved its awareness of service and its own organization building and functional development. Serving as a good bridge of communication between government and enterprises, it has played its part in the development of the electric power industry.
While the Department of Civil Affairs of Shandong Province fully recognized and highly praised the Association for its work shown in the annual review, the Association will, by building on this, keep up its good work in order to better deliver its responsibility as an excellent social organization.
