On October 10, Xu Zhen, secretary general of the Association, attended the launch ceremony of National Electrical Installation, Maintenance, and Test Enterprise Association Club and the first club meeting taking place in Guangzhou. The club was founded after preparations by the Guangdong Association and active response from the provincial associations.
National Electrical Installation, Maintenance, and Test Enterprise Association Club is an independent social organization founded voluntarily by the provincial Electrical Installation, Repair, and Test Enterprise Associations and mainly intended to carry out friendly cooperation and exchanges without any business activities.
Mission of the Club: To boost the ties, exchanges, and cooperation between its members; to explore the development of Electrical Installation, Maintenance, and Test Enterprise Associations; to carry out communication and exchanges of power engineering market and business information to serve enterprises involved in electrical installation, maintenance, and test.
Responsibilities of the Club: To organize various Club activities nationwide; to discuss and exchange opinions on common difficulties and main problems encountered by its members in their development; to organize various exhibitions and forums for other members and to organize the relevant institutions in participating in the exhibitions and forums in areas where its members are based; to organize domestic or overseas exchange and inspection activities for its members.
The first club meeting elected the chairperson, vice chairperson, and secretary general; it voted and passed the Articles of Association; it organized exchanges of the work at various provincial associations; it discussed the contents of Club activities; it unanimously passed the resolution that the second Club meeting would occur in Hunan in 2011.
