Launch of U.S.-Based Coordination Office of Division of Nuclear Power of National Energy Administration

On February 26, 2014 (American time), the Division of Nuclear Power of the National Energy Administration held a meeting attended by the relevant institutions in China and all its staff based in the U.S. and announced the official launch of the U.S.-based Coordination Office of the Division.


Based on the U.S. Representative Office of CNPTC, this Coordination Office is composed of the U.S.-based teams of Chinese institutions such as Sanmen Nuclear Power, Shandong Nuclear Power, and CNPTC Engineering. The Office aims to further strengthen the communication and coordination between the Chinese teams and management of manufacture supervision of interfaces and equipment designed in America and improve the communication and coordination with relevant American government agencies and enterprises on behalf of CNPTC. The director of the American Representative Office of CNPTC will head the Office concurrently, while its deputy chief will be recommended by Sanmen Nuclear Power, who will participate in the work of the Office on behalf of the project owner.
