Brief introduction:

The Electrician Livewire Operation License Training and Examination Pilot approved by Shandong Energy Regulatory Office (predecessor being Shandong Electricity Regulatory Office) in 2010 is responsible for training electricians in the whole province. An electrician livewire operation license is a license that allows the holder to perform such operations as electrical installation, test, inspection and repair, and operating. Such licenses come in three categories: low-voltage, high-voltage, and special. 

A holder of a low-voltage electrician livewire operation license may perform such low-voltage operations as electrical installation, inspection and repair, and operating at a voltage of 0.4kV or lower. 

A holder of a high-voltage electrician livewire operation license may perform such operations as electrical installation, inspection and repair, and operating at a high voltage. 

A holder of a special electrician livewire operation license may perform such special operations as electrical experimentation, secondary installation and commissioning , and operating on power cable.
